THE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT
New Zealand National Fieldays Society Inc operates event ticketing services. As part of our operations in offering ticketing services and ensuring that your tickets and goods ordered are delivered to you, and that you can be advised in the possibility of a change or cancellation of a scheduled event, we may gather certain types of information about the users of our sites.
In addition to the ticketing service, the New Zealand National Fieldays Society also operates an optional lead generation service for use of ticketholders and exhibitors. The purpose of this system is to offer the opportunity for ticketholders to elect to share personal information with exhibitors of their choosing. This system is managed via the optional use of the RFID ‘Explorer Wristband’. This system uses near field communication, meaning the information can only be collected from this wristband with a compatible device that is within a short distance. No personal data is physically stored on the wristband. The wristband must be activated by you for it to be linked to any personal information.
- Personally, Identifiable Information. This is personal information provided by you when you register for services that NZNFS offers. Examples of our services include purchasing tickets or merchandise or receiving email newsletters. Providing this information is optional, but some services may not be available to you if you choose not to provide your information.
- Aggregated Data. This information is generated by our system as it tracks traffic through the website. This information does not identify you personally as is not linked to the Personally Identifiable Information provided by you. This information is statistical information and is owned and may be used by NZNFS for any purpose.
- Additional Data. Upon optional interaction with the Explorer Wristband at the event, you may be provided the option to share additional information that is linked to your wristband with the operator of the interaction. Additional data is only shared with the operator of the interaction in which you entered and authorised the data.
Your personal information and other information that you provide is collected by NZNFS and held by: The NZ National Fieldays Society, located at Mystery Creek Events Centre, Mystery Creek Road, Hamilton.
Your personal information and other information that you provide via the Explorer Wristband is collected and stored by Satellite Media Limited, located at 65 Parnell Rise, Parnell, Auckland.
